My love for baking started at an early age. Memories of helping my mother, Dianne, bake by stirring in ingredients, goes as far back as I can remember. The smell of butter, vanilla, and sugar filling the air always brings me back to those times as a little girl baking with my mother. 

 

The creation of Dee Dee’s Sweet Tooth, LLC combines fulfilling a lifelong love of baking with embracing my dream of doing what I love on a full time basis. For so long, I jumped at any opportunity to bake and create yummy treats for family and friends, but was always confined to time restrictions due to having a day job with long hours. I am so excited to finally be able to fully dedicate my time to do what I love, bake! 

 

The name Dee Dee’s Sweet Tooth, LLC was chosen long ago while in the kitchen  with my mother. She often told stories while we baked.  One particular day she mentioned that her nickname when she was little was Dee Dee and when she became a grandmother that was the name she would ask her grandchildren to call her. That story and the fact that my mother always teased me for having a sweet tooth gave me the idea. I decided that given the opportunity I would start a baking business and name it after my mother as a way to add to her legacy of baking. It is my way of showing how much she inspired and shaped my life.  My mom is tickled that I named my business in her namesake.
